Need help with measurements, reminders, backups, or a bug? Send us a message — we read everything that comes in. The app has no login, so it helps if you mention your platform (iOS, Android, or web) and, when you can, your app version and what you were doing when the issue appeared.

Common questions
- How do I measure PEF? Open the Instructions tab in the app for step-by-step guidance on using your peak flow meter and recording results.
- How do I start tracking? From the dashboard, start a new monitoring period. The app will prompt you to log morning and evening measurements.
- How do I set reminders? Go to Settings and configure morning and evening reminder times. You may need to allow notification permission on your device.
- How do I back up my data? In Settings, use Export data to save a JSON backup file. Use Import data to restore from a file you previously exported.
- iCloud sync (iOS) On iPhone or iPad, you can enable iCloud sync in Settings. You must be signed in to iCloud on your device. Data is stored in your Apple account, not on Softaware servers.
- PDF reports Open a monitoring period and use the PDF option to generate a report matching official Finnish PEF forms. You can share or print the PDF from your device.
- How do I delete my data? Health data stays on your device until you remove it — uninstall the app, clear its storage in device settings, delete individual measurements, or remove exported files and iCloud backups. See Retention and deletion in our privacy policy.
- I lost my data Data is stored on your device. Reinstalling the app or clearing its data removes local records — we cannot restore them unless you have an export file or iCloud backup.
- Ads and privacy choices On mobile, the app may show ads through Google AdMob. Where available, you can review advertising choices in Settings. Health data is not shared with advertisers — see our privacy policy.
- Analytics We use Firebase Analytics for aggregated usage information. Your PEF measurements and health details are not sent to analytics.
- Purchases and downloads If the app is distributed through Apple or Google, billing and refunds are handled by those stores. For payment or install issues, contact their support.
Reporting problems
When reporting a bug, include your platform, app version (shown in Settings), and the steps that led to the issue. Screenshots are welcome when they help explain the problem.
