Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Irata — Space Colony (the “App”), including its mobile and web versions, collects, uses, and discloses information. The App can be played without creating an in-App account, and gameplay save data is not collected on our servers.
Information we collect
We do not request your name, email address, or similar direct identifiers within the App.
The App may store the following information locally on your device only:
- Game progress and settings to continue gameplay.
- Local records such as high scores and App preferences.
This information remains on your device unless you uninstall the App or clear its storage. The web version may use browser storage similarly.
Analytics and diagnostics
On iOS and Android, we use the following Google Firebase services to understand aggregated usage and to keep the App stable. They are not used to directly identify you.
- Google Analytics for Firebase: aggregated usage, such as screens opened and game events (for example, games started or finished and achievements unlocked). The web version may also use Google Analytics.
- Firebase Crashlytics: crash reports and error diagnostics, such as stack traces, device model, operating system and App version, and the game turn at the time of the crash. Crash data is kept for about 90 days.
- Firebase Performance Monitoring: technical performance data, such as App start time and screen rendering speed. Performance data is kept for up to 60 days.
These services use a Firebase installation ID and technical data under Google’s Privacy Policy and Firebase privacy information.
Advertising
On iOS and Android, the App shows third-party advertisements (banner and full-screen ads) through Google AdMob. AdMob may also request ads from Meta Audience Network as a mediation partner. To deliver, limit the frequency of, and measure ads, and to prevent fraud, these networks may process your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android), IP address, coarse location derived from it, device and App information, and ad interactions. The web version does not show ads.
- Consent: Where required by law (for example, in the EEA, UK and Switzerland), the App asks for your consent through Google’s User Messaging Platform before personalized ads are shown. If you do not consent, you may still see non-personalized ads.
- iOS tracking permission: On iOS, the App asks for permission under Apple’s App Tracking Transparency before your IDFA can be used. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android: You can reset or delete your Advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads (or Google → Ads).
Ad data is processed by these companies under their own policies: Google’s Privacy Policy, Google’s advertising technologies, How Google uses information from apps that use its services, and Meta’s Privacy Policy. We do not store this data on our own servers.
Tracking and data linking
If you allow tracking (on iOS) or consent to personalized ads, our advertising partners may use your advertising identifier and ad interaction data for advertising across other companies’ apps and websites. If you do not, your advertising identifier is not used for tracking. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not link analytics, diagnostics or advertising data to your identity in our own systems.
In App Store privacy terms, analytics, crash and performance data are treated as Data Not Linked to You and used for Analytics and App Functionality. Advertising data (identifiers, usage data and coarse location) is used for Third-Party Advertising and may be used to track you if you allow it.
App stores
If you download the App from the Apple App Store or Google Play, those platforms process billing and certain technical data under their own policies. We do not receive your payment card or bank details from them.
Game Center and Play Games leaderboards
On mobile platforms, the App may submit your game score (for example, turns survived) to platform game services when you use leaderboard features: Apple Game Center on iOS and Google Play Games Services on Android.
These services are operated by Apple and Google under their own terms. We do not operate our own leaderboard backend and do not store your leaderboard account identity on our servers. Your display name, profile, and leaderboard visibility are managed through your Apple or Google account settings.
Children
The App is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe information was collected in error, please contact us and we will assist where reasonably possible.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the “Last updated” date at the top will change.
